This week I’ll be at the Sport Summit, one of the newly formed offshoots of the tech behemoth that is Dublin’s Web Summit.

It’s a good few months ago that the Web Summit folks mentioned to me that they were considering adding a sports stream. Needless to say, my ears pricked up. For someone who travels abroad to attend sports conferences, having one in my home town of Dublin was certainly of interest. So I’m very glad to see it all come together. ⁱ

On Wednesday 5th at 10.15am I’ll be moderating “The Value of Statistics“, a panel featuring Bill James (Boston Red Sox), Sean O’Connor (StatSports) and Tony Strudwick (Manchester Utd head of athletic performance).
