Podcast: Week 1 of the European Rugby Champions Cup
The first episode of a new podcast, and a new direction for andymcgeady.com. This week the topic is the European Rugby Champions Cup but as time moves on rugby won’t be its sole focus. Upcoming topics will include the Sports Summit, for example.
It’s short – just 20 minutes – and deliberately so. In this taster episode I have a quick look back at how Munster, Ulster and Leinster fared last weekend. And how the tone of BT’s coverage differed from that of Sky.
There are mistakes in it, for example the notable brain-blank of forgetting that James Downey existed when talking about the size of Stuart McCloskey. It probably should be episode Zero, not One, and it should have been out on Tuesday, not Thursday. And there’s no iTunes or RSS link yet. So it’s not perfect. But I’m letting it go now. Because if I don’t, I’ll never do it. Please excuse the errors, and feedback’s always welcome especially in these early and blissfully naive days.
I’ve never produced anything audio-related in my life.
Hope you enjoy it.

P.S. Dear Connacht fans, no room for you in that first 20 minutes but be assured that I’ll make up for it in future
