Clermont unfairly denied a last crack at Stade?
Clermont, so often the bridesmaids, did it again in the Top 14 when they came second to Stade. The endgame was of interest to law nerds, as with six points down based on the clock and the current laws of the game they were unfairly denied a chance to have one last madcap crack at earning an unlikely win.
I wrote about that last couple of minutes for the Irish Times (print edition of June 17th, 2015) along with a few words on World Rugby‘s note emphasising the enforcement of some current laws.
